If it wasn't for his past this wouldn't be an issue.
I think Hines Ward for the Steelers has been out about the same amount of time as Owens

Strangly enough Ward Held out for a new contract from Pittsburg last year as well (Now he did not act like an Idiot about it like TO did but the media sure seemed to give him a pass while TO was raked HARD)

Ward known was one of the hardest workers, great blocker, does anything for the team he can.

TO, well he loves me some me. Granted he works hard but he's also extremely selfish.

Now I'm not a reporter but call me crazy, but if someone is all "I" "I" "I"...and someone is all "Team" "Team" "Team" who do you smack?

Just let me point out that I a HUGE Steeler fan and a Huge Ward fan. My original post was to point out how reputation plays out in life in general but for sure in this situation. I think Steve Smith has been out longer than both T.O. and Ward if I'm not mistaken.

Saw this morning that TO will not play in the upcoming preseason game due to reaggravating his hamstring. Sure seems like he is already getting under Parcell's skin.
